Remember to Get Happy

After 2 years out of the public eye famous singer song writer re-emerges with words of wisdom that go beyond himself. Ellen DeGeneres welcomed back John Mayer on Tuesday to simply, have a talk, with the newly self proclaimed adult. Mayer has been with many of the beautiful Hollywood talents and has not been afraid to boast of his conquests. In 2010 he did an interview with Playboy Magazine. His childish self was recounting the experience he sporadically shared with Simpson and People reports Mayer saying, “Sexually it was crazy. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”

John admits to not being proud of the things he told Playboy and took himself out of the spotlight.

“I’m glad I actually stayed out of the spotlight,” he noted on Ellen. “Back then I would’ve said, ‘Let me get out and do Ellen and explain myself.’ It was like, ‘No, idiot. Go away – be 33 and 34 instead of 28 for the fourth year.’ “

Mayer released his newest album “Born and Raised” which he thinks, “is the most honest,” work he has done. This honesty could, perhaps, be attributed to his 2 year sabbatical. Another thing Mayer may be able to thank for his absence is the life lesson he learned. You always here people saying, “do what makes you happy.” Mayer had his own sage addition to this cliche.

“Sometimes you never remember to actually get happy. I remembered to get happy.”

Mayer now lives in Montana.
