The Billboard Music Awards Adds More All Star Performers to the Show

More Performers Added to the Billboard Music Awards

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards announces more star-studded acts to their already loaded performers list including Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Ed Sheeran, David Guetta, Ne-Yo, Akon and Icona Pop.  The broadcast, executive produced by Don Mischer, will air live from Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on SUNDAY, MAY 19 (8:00–11:00 pm, ET) on the ABC Television Network, sponsored by Chevrolet, Las Vegas, Samsung Galaxy S® 4 and Buffalo David Bitton.

This year’s award show pairs up some of the hottest names in music right now including Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne who will hit the stage for a steamy performance as well as superstar DJ David Guetta and hit-makers Ne-Yo and Akon.  Individual performances include Jennifer LopezChris BrownEd Sheeran and Icona Pop.  Previously announced performers include Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Miguel, Prince, Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, The Band Perry, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Kacey Musgraves.  The awards show will also honor Prince with the Billboard Icon Award highlighting his unique journey and history of groundbreaking accomplishments in the music industry.  More musical acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.  For Billboard Music Awards show updates, the full list of finalists and ticketing information, visit www.billboard.com.
