Disney’s 3D animated film Frozen, a musical fairy tale based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, which opens Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, 2013, is leading the pack of animated films to be considered for the 2013 Oscars. 19 films including: Frozen, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2, Despicable Me 2, The Croods, Epic, The Fake, Monsters University, Turbo, The Smurfs 2, Planes, Rio 2096-A Story of Love and Fury, O Apostolo, A Letter To Momo, Khumba, Ernest and Celestine, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica are all in the race.
