‘Unbroken’, ‘The Hobbit 3’ and ‘Into the Woods” Top DVD’s For March 24

Angelina Jolie directs ‘Unbroken’, the true story of Olympic champion Louis Zamperini who survives 45 days at sea during WW11, only to be rescued and imprisoned by the enemy.

His plane goes down in the Pacific and he and several others survive for 45 days in a life raft, only to be rescued by the enemy and placed in a prison camp where Zamperini is beaten and tortured, but survives. Takama Ishihora also stars.

HOBBIT

The Hobbit 3: The Battle of the Five Armies. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 7.6. Hobbit fans will not be disappointed as the franchise comes to a close, leaving Smaug, an angry dragon who has lost his treasure, a Hobbit who is trying to make peace and a legionof elves, Dwarves and men who must decide to unite as one or die. Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage headline the ensemble cast.

WOODS

Into The Woods. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 6.2. Meryl Streep stars as a once beautiful witch, and Johnny Depp is the Wolf in this Broadway musical adaptation. A childless couple heads into the woods to solve some riddles and appease some magical beings so they can have their dream come true. Along the way they meet several famous fairy tale characters. Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick and James Corden also star.
