‘Veronica Mars’ Tops DVD Releases for May 6

Adapted from the popular TV series starring Kristen Bell, The Veronica Mars movie, supported by fans and a Kickstarter program makes a feature film that brings the famous teenage detective back to her roots in Neptune.

Veronica has just finished college with a Law degree when her old boyfriend is accused of murder ans she has to return to her home town to solve the mystery. Very satisfying if you were a fan of this smart and witty TV show.

STILL MINE

Still Mine. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 7.4. Released to a limited audience at the Toronto Film Festival, this love story, based on true events, follows Academy Award nominee James Cromwell and Genevieve Bujold, also an Academy Award nominee, as a couple in their twilight years who are trying to build a new home in an uptight, building code New Brunswick.

BURN

BURN. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 7.4. This is a Firefighter documentary about trying to save the city of Detroit that most Americans have written off as dead.

STEAL

The Art of the Steal. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 6.4. A great ensemble cast lead by Kurt Russell and Matt Dillon save this rather mundane story about two brothers, one a notorious art thief, just released from doing time, who gets talked into one last steal.
