The first teaser for Amazon’s season 2 of Transparent is here and wedding bells are ringing! Unfortunately, the show won’t be streaming until Dec. 11, it was planned for Dec. 4.
The show made waves when it first aired showing Jeffrey Tambor transitioning to a female receiving huge critical acclaim.
Anjelica Houston will be guestarring in the second season of the show. Other guest stars include Kathryn Hahn, who is seen in the new trailer, Rob Huebel, Carrie Brownstein, Alexandra Billings, Tig Notaro, Alex MacNicoll, Trace Lysette, Melora Hardin, Michaela Watkins, Emily Robinson and Bradley Whitford.The creator of Transparent says, “Our Pfeffermans realize they must give up their disguises, unspoken arrangements and secrets. By exploring their shared history and legacy, they come to understand that you can’t go forward without knowing where you come from. Ultimately, everyone will open their hearts, advertise their desires, and test those notoriously wobbly boundaries as each Pfefferman tries their hardest to come out — as themselves.”
The new episodes will also revolve around Maura, now out of the closet, as she discovers the hardest part of her transition is still ahead and faces some tough personal decisions about her future, plus Josh (Duplass) and Rabbi Raquel (Hahn) who navigate their new relationship.
Season 2 isn’t even out and its been renewed for a third season!
