Maintaining a positive public persona, Angelina reveals her proactive decision, giving strength to other women with breast cancer in their heredity.
The 37 year old superstar, still being treated at the Pink Lotus Breast Center, penned her story to let women know they have options. Told by Doctors that her reality was one where she had more than an 87% chance of developing breast cancer, and 50% risk of ovarian cancer, Angelina and her family decided to take the proactive approach.
The actress completed her 3 months of medical procedures on April 27, and will continue to document her experience on the website for the Pink Lotus Breast Center. PLBC has treated Sheryl Crow and Shannon Tweed.
